What does it mean that you dry clean almost any garment for $4.99?

It’s exactly what we mean. We will dry clean most any garment you wear, whether it’s pants, jacket, skirt, tie, sweater, etc. for the low price of $4.99. We charge per item, so if you have a 2 piece suit, this counts as 2 items. Wedding gowns, beaded/sequined garments, leather, fur or down-filled garments are excluded. Your leather and down-filled items can be cleaned at our discounted prices that you can find on our website, www.flatratecleaners.com.

How do you keep your prices so low?

Our operation is very efficient; we have eliminated costly overhead such as high paying rent charges, much like in Manhattan.  As a result, we are able to pass the savings onto our customers. Rest assured our primary focus is quality. We take care of your clothes like they are our own. We take pride in our high level of quality & service.

How do I get laundry and dry cleaning bags to use?

First-time customers will receive a complimentary bag with their order upon delivery.  Additional bags are available for purchase at a very low cost. 

How does your wash and fold work?

If this is your initial order, all you need to do is fill any 22"x28" laundry bag with your items.  Since this is a flat rate charge, we will charge you $20.00 per bag.  Upon completion of your order, we will deliver your laundry back to you neatly cleaned and folded in one of our complimentary laundry bags.  If you are a returning customer, all you need to do is fill your laundry bag, it’s that simple! One bag, one price!

What happens if I am not home?

If you have a doorman, you do not need to be home.  Drop off your items with your doorman for pickup and delivery service.  If you do not have a doorman and are not going to be available during your selected scheduled pick up or delivery time, you have two (2) options to choose from: (1) you can designate a neighbor. (2) You can reschedule your delivery time by clicking the “Order Now” icon on our website (this must be done at least 24 hours prior to your originally scheduled pickup or delivery service).  Please note that in order to keep our prices low and our delivery service flowing, if you or your neighbor is not available during the scheduled pick up or delivery time that you selected, you will be charged a $4.00 re-scheduling fee.

What if I have special care instructions?

When you place an order, just place and instructions in the notes section and we will take care of it or contact you if we have any questions.

What if I’m not satisfied with the service?

We guarantee that you will be satisfied with our service.  If you are not satisfied with our service please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your garment and we will gladly re-clean the item again, free of charge.

What is the minimum amount of an order?

The minimum amount for any order is $20.00.

What if my order is less than $20.00, will you pick up and deliver?

In order to keep our prices low, we have to keep our operation efficient. Unfortunately, we will only pick-up a delivery when your order is at least $20.00 or more.

Do you have next day service?

We currently do not offer next day service.  We plan to offer it in the near future and will provide details on our website.

What is your typical turnaround time?

Our average turnaround time is two (2) business days.

Is my credit card information safe?

Yes. We take security very seriously.  All sensitive information is encrypted before being transmitted over the Internet and is stored on secure servers. If your credit card is lost or stolen, please notify us immediately.

Do I have to tip my driver?

You are not obligated to tip our drivers. You will receive prompt and courteous service whether or not you tip our drivers. However, if you choose to, you may acknowledge excellent service with a nominal tip.

How do I know if my garments have been picked up or delivered?

You will receive an email confirmation after your garments have been picked up and/or delivered.

Is there a fee for Pick and and Delivery?

No. Regularly scheduled pick up and delivery service is free.

Can I include bedsheet sets or comforters in my wash and fold?

We will wash & fold any bedsheet set included in wash & fold bags, but comforters are excluded .  We also offer pressing of bedsheets at your request, this is indicated separately on our price list.
